These exercises and protocols are designed to be followed AFTER a full assessment has been performed in our facility. These are not one-size-fits-all approaches and may not be appropriate for everybody. Keep in mind that no exercise or spinal remodeling traction approach takes the place of a specific Gonstead adjustment. This effective neck stretching technique is an excellent warm-up prior to using the neck exerciser, and prior to performing your in-office or at home spinal remodeling traction.
This exercise is excellent for increasing motion in the neck as well as helping to nourish and increase the healthy neck curve. In combination with specific Gonstead adjustments, this exerciser is a great part of your spinal hygiene routine.

This exercise helps correct one of the most common postures that we see in our clinic everyday. This addresses a forward shift of the head, a backward shift of the ribcage, and a forward shift of the pelvis. Please keep in mind that this exercise is NOT for everybody, and may be contraindicated in some cases. Do not perform this exercise until you have been instructed to do so by your doctor.
This video demonstrates a very common abnormal posture that we help correct in our office; the head shift (head translation). Dr. Todd and Tatiana will take you through all of the specifics for correcting a head shift using isometric exercises and exercises that are performed against resistance. These exercises are only prescribed AFTER a thorough Gonstead spinal evaluation and x-ray analysis. Please understand that x-ray analysis is essential to make sure that the appropriate exercises can be prescribed.
