April grew up in a tiny town in Idaho known as NuAcres on an orchard farm. She moved to Oregon 3 years ago and currently commutes all the way to Meridian to provide exceptional care to our patients! April is a Certified Phlebotomist and Medical Assistant with a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration and an Associates in Management and Accounting. When April is not assisting other achieve proper functional movement patterns, she enjoys spending time with her significant other and their pets relaxing at home or out exploring the wilderness.
David grew up in the small town of Glenns Ferry, Idaho, where he played sports and ran around exploring all that Idaho nature has to offer. He spent 7 years in Pennsylvania, going to Penn State to earn his Associates’ Degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. David worked in Pennsylvania as a PTA and wellness assistant for a while, but his experiences lead him to pursue his certificate as a personal trainer, which brought him back to Idaho. He now gets to take care of the wonderful patients at Gonstead Spine & Wellness and once again take advantage of Idaho’s nature scene by climbing, running, and spending time out in the open with his wife.
Jenna was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Idaho to attend Boise State University in 2017. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and is aspiring to become a Physician’s Assistant. She has worked as a home health aide and a CNA, where she worked in a skilled nursing facility for 1 ½ years. In October 2019, Jenna went on a two week medical mission to Kenya and discovered her passion to work in rural communities and areas with inadequate access to care. Her desire is to provide those areas access to preventative care and health education. Looking to expand upon her knowledge and experience in the health care field, she was welcomed on to the GSW team as Dr. Todd’s clinical assistant. In her free time, Jenna enjoys kayaking, camping with her fiancé and spending time with their 2 dogs.
Anna was raised on a small farm in Cottonwood which is located in Northern California. After graduating high school she joined the United States Navy. She served as an Operations Specialist for 5 years on board USS Nitze stationed out of Norfolk, Virginia. Anna is currently a student at Boise State University, working on her Bachelor’s Degree in Radiology and Healthcare Administration. She likes working at GSW because she gets to see how chiropractic care will change someone’s life for the better! Anna enjoys spending time with her dog, Luna, exploring the area and all the outdoor activities it has to offer.
Brandi, an Idaho native was raised in Fruitland, Idaho. Upon graduation from high school Brandi entered the United States Army Serving as a Combat Medic for 9 years. During that time she traveled the United States and the globe working as a line medic, cast/orthopedic tech, anesthesia tech and Health Care NCO. She is currently a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician. She enjoys working at GSW because she gets to see the transformation of lives through the means of chiropractic care. When not working Brandi enjoys spending time with her 2 boys, family and friends.
Hunter was born and raised in Boise, Idaho and has lived in the state his whole life, he attended Rocky Mountain High School and graduated 2019. At 19 years old he is the youngest in the clinic, however he makes up for his young age with youthful ambition, always willing to help anyone in the clinic; coworker or patient. In his free time he is an avid writer, reader, and artist. His passion may hold true to art, yet interacting and helping the patients has been inspiring to him. He is currently working in traction but is eager to take the leap into working in the Functional Movement department and attaining his CNA.
McKenzi was raised in Nampa, Idaho. After graduating high school she attended Carrington College to get her certification in Medical Assisting. McKenzi is currently attending CWI to get her associates in Health Science. She hopes to attend BSU to get her BSN shortly after. She enjoys working for GSW because she gets to see firsthand how much chiropractic care has an impact on someone’s health. In her free time she enjoys kayaking, spending time with her dogs, and working out.
